Dasha is a Registered Psychologist and Educational and Developmental Psychology Registrar with experience working in paediatric services across both the public and private sectors. She offers comprehensive developmental assessments (including Autism, ADHD, and thinking and learning differences) and provides evidence-based therapeutic support for children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, mood difficulties, stress, and social challenges. Dasha has a particular interest in supporting young children who experience challenges in understanding and communicating their emotional experiences.
Dasha also works closely with parents and caregivers to strengthen connection, understanding, and communication within the family system. Recognising that no two journeys are the same, Dasha works collaboratively with children, adolescents, and their families to develop practical and meaningful support strategies tailored to each child’s unique profile. Her approach is strength-based, developmentally informed, and culturally sensitive, with a strong respect for each family’s values, experiences, and identity.
In her therapeutic work, Dasha draws on principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and integrates play-based, attachment-informed, and child-led developmental strategies to support emotional regulation, engagement, and connection. Dasha is also trained in the Tuning Into Kids® parenting approach and integrates emotion-focused strategies into her work with children and families.
